Students Bill of Rights

As a capstone event to the national student petition campaign, Our Education held a national student conference in Washington, DC in August 2009, at which student leaders from throughout the country gathered to pass a Students Bill of Rights and present it to our nation's leaders. The Students’ Bill of Rights serves as a youth definition, based on first-hand experiences, of what the right to high quality k-12 education ought to mean.   A report detailing the results of those meetings will be forthcoming.
